I had all of the symptoms of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome about 30 years ago. I participated with other people with similar symptoms and shared problems and possible ideas to aleviate some of the symptoms. It is easy enough to see fatigue in others but not the neurological symptoms experienced by someone else. My doctor didn't believe them, but my ability to think, solve problems, do simple math, write sentences and spell words were greatly affected. After about 10 years, the symptoms disappeared and I was able to retrieve the lost abilities. The symptoms re-appeared about 5 years later, for a brief time and with less debilitating symptoms. For the past 6 years, I have had the original symptoms return, less significantly, but I retired about a year after symptoms appeared and things got better for a time being. However, for the last 2 years, the symptoms have returned with a vengeance. I am more interested in the neurologic symptoms than the physical, because I am managing those with excessive sleep ( at least 10 to 12 hours a night ). So I have energy for about one half of a day to be productive. I would appreciate any information or resources that you could provide. Thank you very much, Danna Snow, Ph.D.
