I Had An L5-S1 Disc Hernia. Surgeon Did A Discectomy

I had an L5-S1 disc hernia. Surgeon did a discectomy and laminectomy. Pain was gone when I woke up from surgery. Now I have sciatic pain in both legs that would be severe if not for taking Neurontin. Repeat MRI showed no new disc herniation. I have lumbar arthrosis, at L3-L4 there is mild encroachment bilaterally, and at L4-L5 There is encroachment on the right only. ARe any of these findings causing my current pain?
