I Had An MRI Looking For Acoustic Neuroma Last Week.
I had an MRI looking for acoustic neuroma last week. The MRI results showed no evidence of the acoustic neuroma, but mentioned "nonspecific deep white matter hyperintensities, likely to represent small vessel ischemic gliotic change." What does this mean?
I've recently been diagnosed with Meniere's disease and have had an increase in migraine headaches.
I'm 54 years old and overweight.
