I Had An Abalation Done In November! I Have Gained

I had an abalation done in November! I have gained over 35 pounds. The most I've ever weighed in my life even during the pregnancy of my 3 children. I have tried eating healthier and water pills as well as weight lose pills. Nothing works. Never had an issue with my weight so I am concerned about things building up in my uterus. I can not take any hormonal supplements due to family history of cancer.
Just need to know could the surgery be a cause of my weight gain!
