I Had An Abscess Drained Between My Anus And Testicals

I had an abscess drained between my anus and testicals the other day. But a large solid mass still remains and seems to be what caused the abscess in the first place. My question is what could this solid egg sized mass be? I am very concerned especially considering how close it is to my prostate.
