I Had An Abscess On My Gum And I Popped

I had an abscess on my gum and I popped it earlier I may have swallowed some of the puss and I'm a little scared as to what could happen I leave for the beach on Sunday so I really can't get it looked at until I return is this a problem and am I in any danger?
