I Had An Accident On Wednesday With My Ankle And

I had an accident on wednesday with my ankle and i though is a minor thing because am just feeling a little pain and try to stretch my leg and move on,but some hours later i notice that my ankle is swelling up and i cant stretch it again i took pain reliever and went to hospital the next day and the doctor said i should take an x-ray,when the doctor saw the x-ray he said i have bleeding in my ankle,he prescribe me some drugs and said i should rest the ankle for two weeks. My concern is will that bleeding in my ankle dry up or need to be draw out?
