I Had An Adverse Reaction To IV Benadryl In Two

I had an adverse reaction to IV Benadryl in two different ERs on two widely separated occasions while being treated for the same condition. I don't seem to have any problem taking occasional oral Benadryl. Would it be possible to use Benadryl injectable in my mouth for dental care or should I expect the same reaction as IV?
