I Had An Appendectomy Two Weeks Ago W/o Complications. On

I had an appendectomy two weeks ago w/o complications. On Thurs. of this week I had a follow up and mentioned to the surgeon that I felt well with exception of sometimes getting pain on the left side of my abdomen. The Dr. checked the three incisions and said they were healing well & the pain was just part of the healing process and to take it easy. The pain is pretty frequent and I still have bloating. Could something more serious be going on?
