I Had An Ectopic Pregnancy At The Beginning Of August

I had an ectopic pregnancy at the beginning of august this year. 3 weeks later i went to hospital with severe bleeding and my hcg levels said i was still pregnant. It turns out i had a hetertopic pregnancy which is very rare. I lost both babies. I have had a smear last week and it came back to say i had severe dyskariosis.is this the reason i had an ectopic pregnancy?
