I Had An Eye Injury In Scratching The White Of

I had an eye injury in scratching the white of my eye resulting in a red bloody eye. Eye doctor said it was superficial and would clear up in little over a week. I am now on long road trip and at the end of the day am a lightheadedness. Could that be caused by the eye injury?
