I Had An Irregular Heavy Period. My Doctor Had Me

I had an irregular heavy period. My doctor had me go for an ultrasound. I have a cyst on my ovary and an "abnormality" in my uterus. They are scheduling an appointment for me with an ob/gyn and they said something about possibly doing a biopsy. While waiting for the appointment my imagination is going full speed ahead. What could the abnormality be? Cancer?
