I Had An Operation With Epidural Anaesthetic 40 Days Ago.

I had an operation with epidural anaesthetic 40 days ago. Last month my period didn't come and there is no one sign of it this month, day 28. I am 37 and have never missed a period in my life. Could the epidural be the cause of it and if so should I take any measures?
