I Had An Ultra Sound Done On My Throat To

I had an ultra sound done on my throat to look at my thyroid they said they saw lobes or goiters an my Dr is sending me to get a biopsy done on it but my question is i looked up iodine vitamins an its supposed to help your thyroid if it does how much strong a pill should i buy before i go to the other doctor?
