I Had An Ultrasound Done Several Months Ago For Pain

I had an ultrasound done several months ago for pain in my testicle. It was found that I have a 2cm cyst on my epididymis. I have waves of feeling okay for days and then significant pain for several days. The urologist wants to do surgery to remove the cyst and I am uncertain if I should. I did antibiotics for a month but still having pain. I don't know if I should do the surgery in 2 days.
