I Had An Ultrasound Of My Liver. It Was Fine

I had an ultrasound of my liver. It was fine but I was told I have a couple stones in my gallbladder. I wasn't experiencing any symptoms then but I think I am now. I'm feeling pain at the top of my ribs after I eat. Could that be why and is there anything I should avoid eating or anything I can do to stop this from happening?
