I Had Audiometric Nueroma Surgery 3 Months Back... Now MRI

I had audiometric nueroma surgery 3 months back... now MRI was done and finding is that post operative substance residual is seen. Doctor has commented that after one year review if growth is seen than chemotherapy is to be administered.. I want to know if doctor is suspecting cancer
