I Had Been Diagnosed With Explosive GERD That Closes My

I had been diagnosed with explosive GERD that closes my wind pipe, scars my vocal cords and has caused Barrett's Syndrome. I have been on omeprezole and ranitidine since May '15. I recently have completed a 6 week course with aloe vera juice and probiotics to heal the damaged tissue. I want to stop taking the PPIs due the increasing list of bad side effects from long term use. How do I wean myself off them without incurring the awful rebound they are known for?
