I Had Been On Glyburide For 6 Years. My Dose

I had been on Glyburide for 6 years. My dose started out at 2.5 mg twice daily. Eventually it was up to 5 mg twice daily. My Dr. changed my medication to Glimepiride i mg twice daily then dded an extra half pill at night. My numbers kept staying rather high to suiot me. My last a1C was 7.6. I had3 weeks of Glyburide remaining so I took them just to use them up and my numbers were much better. I discussed this with my pharmacist and she concluded that my glimepiride needs adjustment. Possibly 2 mg twice daily. What do you think?
