I Had Bells Palsy In December, It Got Progressively Better

I had bells palsy in December, It got progressively better for about 4 months and then slowed down to a stop. I only took Prednizone for about 7 days along with anti viral drugs and some paid meds. I still have a little bit of discomfort in my mouth and eye area. Should I have taken prednizone for a longer period of time? Should I take it now? I would really like the rest of this to get better and not be permenant.
