I Had Blood Clots That Filled My Entire Leg Back

I had blood clots that filled my entire leg back in 2010. They were what I call the sprinkler kind, they weren't round they were long like spaghetti if I understood the Doctor right and they covered the leg from the ankle to the groin. My entire leg swelled, my foot was huge, my ankle was the size of soft balls, my knee the size of a basketball. My skin split in several places on the leg. The place on my leg that split left me with cellulitis. My question is should I still be feeling heat and soreness from the area after this length of time? Thank you.
