I Had Blood Work Done In February My AST Was

I had blood work done in February my AST was normal and my ALT was 37. I just got my blood work done on Monday so it has been nine months and my AST levels raised to 65 and my ALT' are at 156. Prior to this last test I have not had any alcohol for 20 days. If theses numbers are high because of alcohol does it take more than 20 days to see improvements?
