I Had Breast Augmentation 8 Days Ago. I Was Cut

I had breast augmentation 8 days ago. I was cut under my breast. A few days ago I had a lot of red marks on the top of my breast which I thought were maybe stretch marks but today there is pus coming out. I went to see my doctor but he was not in and his nurse said that the pus was from the tape under my breast. Is that possible?
