I had bypass surgery in 2006- lost 200 lbs. My boyfriend, partner needed transplant kidney & pancreas due to complications of Diabetes. Long story.....since then I have developed an allergy (anaphylacticly) to Gluten since then. Possibility side effect of surgery.
I was also diagnosed with Primary Progressive MS 4 years ago. I have lost control over my right leg, my right arm is starting to become a problem while trying to use. I was let go at work 1 1/2 years ago due to problems with consistent falling. There are no medicines currently used for this disease. I do take other meds for lower back pain, muscle spams, sleeping etc. Could MS also be a side effect of bypass surgery?
