I Had Cancer 3 Years Ago And My Night Upper

I had cancer 3 years ago and my night upper lobe was removed. The doc gave me oxicodone. Every time I saw him he upped it. I started with 5 mg 4X daily. I now am on 80 mg daily. I just need to talk.
Is it true that the 3 rd day is the worse? Will I be alright?
