I Had Cancer Surgery (melanoma On Inside Left Thigh) A

I had cancer surgery (melanoma on inside left thigh) a little over 2 years ago. After surgery I got infection (cellulitis) and had to stay in hospital under iv antibiotic for 5 days. The infection affected my hips and to this day still affects me. Is it possible the infection damaged anything in there or could it be arthritis?
