I Had Cataract Surgery 8 Years Ago. The Lens Used

I had cataract surgery 8 years ago. The lens used was an Alcon SN60WF. At the time my doctor said there were newer options available but this lens was the tried and true. I have been pleased with vision I that eye as it only needs the equivalent of a store bought reader lens. The other eye has a slow progressing cataract as well. Would I be wrong to wish for, and can I get similar results using the same Alcon or comparable lens, and therefore only need reading glasses?
