I Had Cataract Surgery On My Left Eye 11 Days

I had cataract surgery on my left eye 11 days ago. After a week I was told I could discontinue all of the drops except for the Prednisone. Although I can't see perfectly, my vision is much improved. The only irritant is that my previous prescription isn't accurate anymore, but I have to wear my glasses to accommodate my other eye. Things were going along fine until Friday evening. I had worn mascara that day after checking with my doctor first. That evening my eye began to feel tired and irritated. Now it's red and very light sensitive. Going outside gives me a throbbing headache on that side of my head. It also feels like there is something in it, a feeling that I had after surgery, but that went away after two days. I called the on call dr who told me to continue the other drops. Do any doctors have an idea as to what is causing this sudden discomfort? Thank you in advance.
