I Had Colon Resection 5 Days Ago, Feeling Relatively Well,

I had colon resection 5 days ago, feeling relatively well, but my bowl movement has had old blood in each time. Today I had a tiny almost normal bowl movement, but again it was full of dark blood and then left lighter colored blood in the water. Is that expected at this early stage of recovery?
