I Had Colostomy Sergery About 4 Years Ago. Ever Since

I had colostomy sergery about 4 years ago. Ever since then I am getting severe pain anywhre from 5 to 6 weeks. Can't tell when I have to go to he bathroom. It just rears it ugly head, I don't know how to handle it. Is it possible to delevope I.B.S. after this kind of surgery help please and thank you
