I Had Ear Drum Perforation Long Back , Leading To

I had ear drum perforation long back , leading to conductive hearing loss , There was a slight ringing noise then . Later I was working in a noisy generating station for 10 years . Now, I find ringing noise louder to my extreme discomfort. Sometimes there is a change in ringing noise to the sound of a flute for a few seconds . The doctor says that the perforation is closed , but the hearing is almost nil. Tried Betahistine 16mg tablets ( 1-0-0 ) for a month without any improvement . Now the doctor has prescribed Ginkoba tablets ( 1-0 -1 ) . Is there any other remedy ? I am 66 years old
