I Had Eye Surgery A Week Ago Gor A Detached

I had eye surgery a week ago gor a detached retina. Have had to lay on my right side to keep the gas bubble in the eye up against the retina for proper healing. I have been up and out today, but tonight I am experiencing some numbness in my left cheek and lips. My sinus on the left side is a bit full, but has been that way off and on.What could be causing the numbness and do I need to seek help.
