I had for 6 years panic attacks and permanent tension Headach (pressure on the head),unbalance, dizziness, anxiety, worrying about the future, mood swinging and chest pressure....then my psychiatric diagnosed me with OCD & panic attack so he put me on seroxat and lexotanil for 7 years which made a huge positive impact (all the symptoms were gone approximately, but the only side effects was that I became less energetic & weight gain). Now my new dr(professor) is telling me it is to much to take high doses (lexotanil 3mg 3 times a day) and seroxat (20 mg 3 times a day) & it has been too long on them so he wants to cut off seroxat and lexotanil & put me on wellbutrinXL.
so I have decreased the dosage of seroxat gradually for 10mg a day which caused a withdrawal symptoms but now (after 2 weeks)it's better but I didn't decreased the lexotanil cause I felt I can't.But now the doctor said to start with wellbutrin,he wants me to take wellbetrinXL 150mg the first day without seroxat, the next day seroxat 10mg without wellbutrin,(day on day off)like that for 2 weeks then to stop seroxat permanently and stay on wellbutrin150mg daily. He preferred from me to decrease lexotanil as much as I can but he wrote on the prescription 1.5mg 3 times a day with the wellbutrinXL.
My question is:
-Is there any interaction or any problem between wellbutrinXL and lexotanil if I take 3mg lexotanil 3 times a day with the wellbutrinXL150mg.
-Is there any interaction between seroxat and wellbutrin if I took them day on day off (as I described before).
-Is the wellbutrinXL effective for my case as my previous medication(seroxat&lexotanil)or no(cause I have read that it is only for depression)
