I Had Had A Molar Extracted 1 Week Ago. I

I had had a molar extracted 1 week ago. I have been feeling throbbing pain on my right side where extraction has occurred for the last two days which is ongoing. I visited the dentist yesterday to remove the stitches and he thinks it's just the pain associated with the pulling and pushing of the operation. He said o do not have a dry socket. it's a throbbing pain which sometimes shoots around the ear and jaw. Codeine Painkillers don't seem to take the pain away.
