I Had Lol Implanted This Am(cataracts). Prior To Surgery My

I had lol implanted this am(cataracts). Prior to surgery my doctor started to talk to me about implanting an iol for near vision in my right eye. I had already specified that I wanted both iols set for distance (misunderstanding). He indicated this was no problem, he would do as I wanted and shortly thereafter, he performed the surgery. Wouldn't it require some time to procure/make (I'm not sure how to word it) an iol that would correct my particular vision?
