I Had Loud Heart Beats Last Week, On And Off,

I had loud heart beats last week, on and off, upon checking with my doctor my heart beats were normal and an ECG test also showed it as normal. She has put me on Inderal 10 mg but my blood test showed my cholesterol levels are high and am on Cretor 10 mg medication for 3 months. I am 39 and was wondering if this is any cause for serious concern. I am slightly overweight.
