I Had Mastitis In One Of My Breast 8 Years

I had mastitis in one of my breast 8 years ago. After that infection, i ve had always a lump in one of my breast. Recently, I noticed some dimpling on my breast and lump seem to be having irregular surface. I am 46 years old and going pre- menopause. is there a possiblity that that lump can turn into breast cancer. I am worried.
