I Had My First Shot Of B12 Yesterday Some How

I had my first shot of B12 yesterday some how i am releasing a lot of mucus all the time. Ever since I had my flu shot I seam to have built it up. I do have allergies that cause it for years. Can it be releasing it now? I read it is like putting gasoline in a car.
