I Had My Gall Bladder Removed That Showed To Be

I had my gall bladder removed that showed to be inflamed and had been doing great. I never took any pain medicine and after about a week the soreness went away around my entry holes. Three weeks later my right side is hurting and sore to the touch. It is pretty severe pain but do not want to spend my weekend in the ER. Is this normal?
