I Had My Left Adrenal Gland Removed In 2009. Before

I had my left adrenal gland removed in 2009. Before the surgery I had high metabolism and weighed 100 pounds.My metabolism went from high to low as well as my energy. I have gained 67 pounds thus far and this upsets me greatly. Is it common for this to happen? I have tried dieting but still am gaining weight.
