I Had My Period Twice In One Month 1 Week

I had my period twice in one month 1 week apart. this past one is still on day 8 which is weird because I only have them for 5-7 days I went to the doctor and had an ultrasound done today but waiting on results is it possible for me to be pregnant and have my period twice I'm on the pill but me and my boyfriend use no other protection than that please help I'm going crazy
