I Had My Tubes Tied Four Years Ago On March

I had my tubes tied four years ago on March 12th, 2012. The first year my periods were regular and came on time. Then they started to slowly spread out to where i only got my period 4-5 times a year. I just started my period today but the last period I had was back in october of last year and I'm afraid to go to an OB/GYN because of past experiences.
