I Had Nearly Completed 6 Weeks Of Antibiotics Administered Through
I had nearly completed 6 weeks of antibiotics administered through a picc line in my left bicep, when
I developed a blood clot in my left breast. This was presumably a result of irritation of the vein, from the picc line. I was then put on daily Lovenox shots for 30 days. My doctor want sme to go on Coumadin for 6 months.
It seems excessive since the clot was a result of picc line iriritation. This blood thinner will postpone my having my previously infected hip revision replaced with permanent titanium hip joint.
