I Had One Day Of A Lot Of Blood In

I had one day of a lot of blood in my urine including blood clots. It was very painful to urinate. No burning just very very painful. The blood and clots lasted about 20 hours. I had a urine culture done it is non ready the prelimary report shows abnormal gram negative rods. I am having a CT scan and a Cystoscopy in the next few weeks. I am 59 years old. Should I be worried about cancer?
