I Had One Dominant Follicle Size Of 18mm On Day

I had one dominant follicle size of 18mm on day 16 and on day 17 it became 18.5mm then on day 18 doc said that there is free fluid means it ruptured. I have few questions:
1.why the size increased by only 0.5mm in a day?
2. Free fluid means it ruptured?
3. Had unprotected sex almost every day during the fertile window what are the chances to get pregnant?
