I Had Oral Surgery A Few Days Ago. I Was

I had oral surgery a few days ago. I was prescribed antibiotics and Vicodin. I have been having chills/hot flashes and vomiting. Could this be from the Vicodin? It seems to happen about an hour or so before the next dose. I am taking it every 6 hours. Or could it be the surgery itself(local anesthetic)? The pain was bad enough but feeling like having the flu at the same time is not fun. You aren't supposed to spit, sneeze, drink through straw and etc. so I am a bit worried that vomiting can be potentially damaging as well.
