I Had Part Of My Intestines Removed In 2010 And

I had part of my intestines removed in 2010 and my doctor told me to use stool softeners. I use 250 mg each x4 each night! I have used them every night since 2010 and have had no problems at all. My question is if there is a long term effect of using softgels???
