I Had Perisac Bleeding Of 19mm And No Heartbeat Found

I had perisac bleeding of 19mm and no heartbeat found at 6 weeks and after one week scan was repeated still no heartbeat but perisac bleeding, doctor said I need to do an abortion. I need to know why this perisac bleeding happened and what's the cause of it so that next time I get pregnant Id know about it and be careful.
