I Had Right Bottom Wisdom Teeth Extraction Today...n Felt Extreme

I had right bottom wisdom teeth extraction today...n felt extreme pain from novacaine shot..and instant burning in right nostril. Dentist said he don't what its from because he wasn't working on my upper teeth...I dont know what that means?????? 10 hours later major nasal drip and burning sensation in right nostril...What can it be from if dentist insists it can't be from novacaine?
