I Had Severe Cramping In My Right Ovary Immediately Following

I had severe cramping in my right ovary immediately following intercourse Sunday. It almost felt like the ovary had twisted around and was slowly twisting back into place. It was sharp and stabbing, and if I moved it got worse. The only way I could even not cry was if I was laying on my stomach. It took about an hour before I could move again and after hot bath I was back on track, but it really freaked me out.
I also started my period today... two days later. IDK if that matters in this discussion.
